From my experience, previously as an admin, and later as not, many people rely on Server Administrators to be on so they and their roleplaying companions can listen to appropriate music during roleplays.

However, it is important to note that as a non-Admin roleplayer, you can still add the same tense, action, sad, calm, or otherwise musical accompaniment to your roleplay by simply typing this into the console:

Quote/music music/

For example:
Quote/music music/k_tense

To see a list of musics available to you, simply type:
Quote/dir music

When commanding a roleplay, and you want everyone to hear the same music, just tell your fellow roleplayers to play the same music. It may not be as streamlined as an admins /playmusic command, but it is definitely a solution.

For example:

Now go forth, and enhance your roleplaying with music today!  8)

Doesn't this only work for the player who is issueing the command? Or can everyone hear the music?

Only the issuing player can hear it, but they can just tell everyone what track to play.
