TLO Forum Rules:

1. Members are forbidden from posting (or linking) to pornographic material, or any other material not appropriate for general viewing on the forums.

2. Spamming is not allowed on the forums, with the exception of Pierce's Bar. Spamming includes (but is not limited to) one word posts, emoticon-only posts, etc.

3. Double posting is not allowed on the forums. "Reminderbumps" are acceptable to remind members of approaching events, but these should be used prudently. If you have forgotten to add information in your post, use the "edit" button to add it in instead of making a new post.

4. Flaming is prohibited on the forums. Any post that attacks another user or is obviously designed to incite another user will be subject to action by the moderators.

5. Advertisements are not allowed on the forums, without the consent of the President. Advertisement includes linking to another group's forum, advertising a non-TLO SRP, promoting another group's server, advertising a non-TLO event, soliciting donations, etc.

6. Foreign groups *may* link to their own boards in their posts in the embassy, and are free to post advertisements about joint RPG-X events. Foreign ambassadors are bound by all other aspects of the advertisement rule.

Minor violations of these rules will result in a friendly warning from a moderator. More serious or repeated violations of these rules may result in formal disciplinary action by the council. The forums are a central part of this community, thus it is essential that these rules are followed and enforced. If you have any questions about these rules or are uncertain as to whether or not a post breaks one of these rules, you should contact either myself as head of Internal Affairs, or Gregory House, the forum mod.
