The Persian Empire has taken over the central Alliance Command without any resistance. General Poseidon has declared Martial Law, and the 9 Satellites in Alliance Space are all commanded by Officers hand picked by Poseidon Himself...

Death Squads have been formed on Alliance Colonies, pulling seemingly random people out of their homes, and killing them on the streets. At present, the purpose behind this whole ordeal remains a mystery - Why these certain people? What's special about them - or is there any real reason at all?

Meanwhile, on an Asteroid Base (Wreck is a more appropriate term) The crew of the Hercules, and eight other Alliance ships arrive to meet with the command structure of the Rebels - and rather quickly, things start to become apparent - The Officers loyal to the Alliance ideals are officers who were loyal to Peirce. Poseidon is attempting to destroy any and all ties to Walter Peirce - by destroying the last "grandfather of the alliance", Poseidon hopes to solidify his claim to command, and weed out any resistance.

This doesn't sit well with the Rebels, and so they hash out a plan - they must call upon their allies for aid - without the help of their closest ally, the Valkyr - the Rebellion will certainly be crushed in under 2 weeks. General Athena sends the Hercules, under the command of Freya, to get the aid they so desperately need, but will the Valkyr be willing to offer it?

For more than 12 centuries, the Valkyr have lived in peace on the "Mortal Plane". Protected by an impenetrable nebula called "The Shroud of Loki", The Valkyr lie safe and secluded from the dangers of the outside, only intervening when they deem it necessary.

Now The Hercules has been sent out on a mission of Life and death, to call upon the Valkyr for Aid against the combined forces of the Persian Empire and Poseidon. With only an estimated one week before the Rebel Base falls from a coming siege, time is critical - Can Freya convince her people to intervene - again?
