The full TLO code of conduct may be found here, however, the salient points that you should know are summarized below.

The most important 'rule' on the TLO servers is to respect and be courteous towards the other players present. This includes, but is not limited to refraining from insulting the other players or making comments about their sex, orientation, race, religion or personal views. Behavior of this manner will not be tolerated under any circumstances!

TLO is predominantly an English speaking community. Although we have members from all over the world who speak a number of different languages, English is used as the lingua franca of the group. As such all roleplays conducted on the server are expected to be done so in English so that as many players as want to attend may be included. Special permission to hold roleplays in another language may be obtained with special dispensation from the Cabinet.

Server rules should be obeyed at all times. The full list of server rules is displayed on the MOTD when you connect to the server. Ignorance of the server rules is not an acceptable excuse for breaking them. Most of the rules are common sense, but of particular note is the fact that the server is 'rated' PG-13 when it comes to plot and dialogue and that unlike many other servers fragging is prohibited at all times.
