Hello everyone,

After much discussion with Serris and the rest of the RPG-X staff, we have decided to make major changes to the SRP application process. We have come to the conclusion that written descriptions can only do so much to convey the creativity and dedication that TLO members pour into their SRP submissions. In the past, TLO allowed applicants to run "pilot episodes" to both show off their show-running abilities while also allowing the community to dive head-first into a story to see if it interests them enough to attend regularly. We have decided to bring this pilot system back in order to make the SRP application process fairer to members who want to show off their abilities for the first time, but have been unable to win polls due to lack of notoriety.

The system will work as follows.

1: Potential applicants will still send applications with SRP info and descriptions to Scott Archer and Klaw in the same form as before.
2: We will then specify a certain timeslot for the pilot episodes. Every pending SRP application that can run during that timeslot will get to run a pilot episode. So if there are four applications, and three of them can run SRPs at a certain time, then we will spend three weeks running pilots.
3: The SRP with the most interest will be commissioned in that timeslot. If another SRP has significant interest, we can discuss alternative courses of action (e.g. runnign episodes on alternating weeks, finding another slot altogether etc.)

Please feel free to ask any questions in this thread, and remember, send in those SRP applications! Anyone and everyone can run a TLO SRP, so what are you waiting for?
