Cant even start the game [RESOLVED]

Hi all,

I am in need of support, I have just downloaded and installed Star Trek RPG X Ultimate Edition and when I go to run the game I just a error message ? :/ I would appreciate any help in this matter as I am very keen to play this game.

the error message is "rpgxEF has stopped working" then it will crash and nothing happens.

Hi Dexter,


Based on the error2.png image you attached, it looks like SDL.dll didn't get installed.


Try reinstalling Ultimate Edition, when doing so this time right click the installer and run as admin, just to make sure.  If that doesn't work let me know.

Thank you for your reply. I will most certainly try that. I will let you let you know how I got on. btw are there active servers available still ? I live in Australia atm that shouldn't matter right ?

TLO has 2 active RPG-X servers.  You should be able to find them in the server browser once you get your game working, or connect to either spicy.last-outpost.net or teriyaki.last-outpost.net.


TLO's servers are hosted in the US, but you should be able to play.
