Anchored in place by a neutronic wavefront, the celebration of Commander Quinn's new promotion to Executive Officer was put on hold as a strange form of radiation began to affect the crew's mental faculties. Doctor Bertrand slapped Quinn and sedated Hawkins, obsessively attending to the now-deceased Commander Zandeur's morgue locker while the Captain took decorative duties upon himself and transported a live photon torpedo to spruce up the mess hall. Meanwhile, an engineer attempted suicide over Taco Tuesday in the mess hall while McKnight tried to eject the warp core and two other workers got into a fist fight over intermix ratios.

Fortunately, Chef and Lieutenant Wilcox were able to sedate the crew until the wavefront passed, leaving a thoroughly embarrassed crew to attempt a party.
