Acting Captain Menden places the
Hera back on mission as the crew receives indication of Halkonian activity through means of one of many deployed subspace beacons. Once the nibble turn in to a bite, Menden finds himself on the receiving end of a scathing indictment from one of the most influential figures in Accobar's history - a difference of opinion of cosmic proportions which may halt Starfleet's efforts to counter Vega's presence across Federation space - but hope may come in the form of the ship's increasingly surprising Chief Engineer.
Under observation in Sickbay and awaiting transport back to Starbase 215, a bedridden Mason attempts to maneuver herself out of confinement in a bid to continue her quest for The Truth - calling upon a number of the staff to aid her.

Hi all, Asteroid Field is still taking place today - though it won't be this episode. Given the arc intensive nature of this season, I want to give it more room to breathe by slotting in a minisode here to bridge the gap between Eps 7 & 8. We'll be picking up right where we left off last week and just progressing naturally from there as Menden assumes command and the crew reacts to recent / ongoing events.
This won't be a full length session and you will largely be given free reign - so come prepared to be increasingly autonomous.
