We're running the SRP pilot scheme again!
The time slot that we are looking at using is Saturday at 15:00 EST (20:00 BST.)
Each SRP will be allowed to organise its pilot episode in its own thread.
If you wish to apply, please PM Telex Ferra and myself with:
SRP Name:
SRP: Description
Episode Length:
Subform layout (should the SRP be commissioned):
Maps:
We have 4 spaces available, and submissions will close next Tuesday at 12:00 EST (17:00 BST)
Confirmed pilots:
Star Trek: Constitution (http://www.last-outpost.net/forum/index.php/topic,8666.0.html)
Star Trek: Shadow Squad (http://www.last-outpost.net/forum/index.php/topic,8667.0.html)
Just a reminder, anyone can submit an SRP proposal to us. If you've got a story you really want to run and you can make the designated timeslot consistently, you should definitely send both Scott and me an application!
Updated with our first submission!
Also, something that I want to clarify:
Following the commissioning of the winning SRP, the runner will have two weeks maximum to get the ball rolling with their SRP.
And entry's are closed!
We'll have a look into possible time slots for these two SRP pilots to run.
It's taken some time, but we have two dates!
Star Trek: Constitution (by Sheia K'Ress) will run it's pilot on Saturday 6th August at 15:00 EDT/ 20:00 BST
Star Trek: Shadow Squad (by StringTheorist) will run its pilot on Saturday 13th August at 15:00 EDT/ 20:00 BST
Voting will open on Sunday 14th August and close 1 week later! The new SRP will start within two weeks of the end of the poll.
UPDATE:
Due to a work commitment, Sheia can no longer make the 6th and therefore Constitution will run it's pilot on Saturday 20th of August.
Star Trek: Shadow Squad | StringTheorist | Saturday 13th August | 15:00 EDT/20:00 BST[/size]
Star Trek: Constitution | Sheia K'Ress | Saturday 20th August | 15:00 EDT/20:00 BST
UPDATE:
StringTheorist has decided to withdraw Shadow Squad from this round of pilots.
Constitution will still air on the 20th August and the poll will now be whether you want Constitution to air permanently or not following the conclusion of that pilot.
What's going on with this?

What's going on with this?
I believe they both have withdrawn String officially Sheia Unofficially
This round is almost certainly over due to lack of interest, we will be discussing this in more detail at tomorrow's RPG-X meeting and investigating how good a system this is and if we need to look at changing it.
Although I don't think the change of leadership in the middle of this and my LOA (meaning I was less able to chase things up) didn't help here.
This SRP pilots round has ended with both SRPs having withdrawn.
I acknowledge there were several failings within this, such as the change of leadership, such as multiple LOAs.
We've discussed this as a department and we are confident we can combat these failures.
So the next round of pilots will open in October.
