Post by: Jack Telford on June 18, 2016, 08:30:49 AM
Operating System: Windows 7
RPG-X Version: 2.4 Beta
Short Description of bug: When you try to load up the Station Iowa map it crashes with this error: http://imgur.com/Sx3JOaQ (http://imgur.com/Sx3JOaQ)
Steps to Reproduce Bug:Open up RPG-X with the rpgxEF.x86.exe program and then enter console and type /map station_iowa
UPDATE: I can't get 1 single map to work. I tried rpgxEFded.x86.exe but it just says that the program stopped working.[/size]
UPDATE 2: I can connect to the alpha server successfully but whenever I try to load a map locally it fails.

o_o this is an odd one. I don't have an issue with my local build. It might be a problem with the automated build process for our branches. Martin, what do you think?

Thats a strange error...

To be sure, you also copied the .dll files in the RPG-X2 folder in the archive to your own rpg-x2 folder yes?

Perhaps its a system dependency thats missing somewhere... Can't say i know whats going on here, havn't seen this myself either.

I copied all the required files to the correct directory. I even double checked to make sure and I had.

I've made a change that I think might fix it. Try downloading again in an hour or so after our test server has a chance to rebuild the binaries.

The thing we did that thought woudl fix it actually broke the build process. We're in the process of figuring out whats wrong. You can track (and post to) the issue here:
