I've installed standard edition two times, put all my mods in. But like last time I keep getting kicked out, the console having nothing to say. I asked SFC3 if SE was updated to 2.3 and he said yes. I don't know whats going on

1: Why install SE then throw in your maps when you could use the ultimate edition and probably have most of them in already?
2: Are you getting kicked back to the main menu or is the game crashing? If it's back to the main menu, could you provide a condump for us to look at? (type /condump <name>.txt and find the file in your rpg-x2 folder)
3: We have upgraded to 2.3 beta4, which is what we distribute in both RPG-XUE and RPG-XSE
I already have a backup of mods, and I have been getting kicked to the menu. I don't know about the 2.3 patch, I was asking about SFC3 about that.

If you installed RPG-XSE you do not need to patch anything. RPG-XSE should be able to connect to the servers out of the box. A condump will be useful in diagnosing your problem, but I may already see the issue.
When you backed up your maps from before, did you accidentally include the rpg-x core files along with your backup? If so then that may be the issue.
Here is my backup
(https://last-outpost.net/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fgyazo.com%2F5451e408c2b5e4802f14bdbd75cabc63.png&hash=aa9071fdbdad712e46da14df6f0bae088d1eb496)
Yup, you included core rpg-x files in your backup: see pak0, pak1, pak2, pak3
I would recommend installing RPG-XUE, then trying to merge these folders but deny any requests for overwrite. That should give you a working game with a ton of maps, including anything you have on your list.
I wouldn't even bother doing the merge, honestly. There's nothing you have that RPGXUE doesn't have, that isn't also on our servers.

Yes, follow Veritas' advice.
Veritas this is a problem members were having last week when trying to get on the spicy server as well, also Martin had the same issues today when he was trying to connect during AF, I had the issue and am not 100% sure how I solved it.. but it seems to be on the user end.

I'm not sure that these are identical issues - without a condump, it's impossible to tell, but it sounds to me like Jon made some changes to his installation which are causing him problems.
Also, I
strongly encourage people to post if they're having issues. I can't guess if there are problems or not.

Could the version of Ariana your using be incorrect?
Also did you try to join both of the servers? (this may allow us to know if it is base files that have the issue or simply addon's causing compatibility issues)
Kurt brings up an excellent point. If you were trying to join Star Trek: Scientific Mandate or Star Trek: Asteroid Field, they're both using new versions of Ariana and Vanderbilt. That's probably why you keep getting kicked off. You can find the new maps in the Server Information subforum.
But why would there be no error though?
Jon, is auto downloading shut off?

On occasion a map load does not constitute an error as far as rpg-x is concerned I previously discovered this when I could not join one of the servers.
Kurt, it will still put the error in your console.
I fixed the AF problem, however I didn't fix the SM problem. I found out that no matter what, the link of the ship map on required files is not the correct version. I tried numerous times but it is not ariana-v2.bsp or whatever. I eventualy gave up because of this
If you can check again for an error that would be extremely helpful.

It's in the Server Information subforum, in this (http://www.last-outpost.net/forum/index.php/topic,6737.0.html) topic.
