Daedalus has finally arrived at The Denorios Belt. After more than a week studying the charged plasma field, Commander Scott has decided to traverse it, and explore a little beyond.

What they don't realize is that beyond the field lies a planet of eternal beauty, peace and prosperity. This quaint world on the outskirts of the galaxy will soon be forgotten as quickly as it had been discovered, but for the people on Daedalus, Bajor will be a welcome destination for a little rest and relaxation.

A few quick notes.

There will be a moment in the story where you all may be lost. This will be explained in context, and after the event in the story, but I don't want to spoil it now.

Basically, just follow the story the best you can, I'll hint and direct as needed.

*sigh* in light of mothers' day weekend and a couple needed individuals unable to attend this week... I'm afraid I need to push this episode back until next week.

I'm sorry for any inconvenience.

TEASE TIME!

The end of this episode will lead directly into the beginning of Season 2 and will start us on our journey down the largest planned story arc I have developed for Daedalus.

There is a good chance that, by the end of this ordeal... some of you may not survive.

Please remember to let me know (preferably ahead of time) if you're not going to be able to make it this week!

This is Saturday! :) (I may have more notes to add later...)

(A brief synopsis is imperative, since Visions Part 2 won't be on for a while...)

Daedalus arrived in the Denorios Belt, and was immediately welcomed by some occurrences, both on and off the ship

Koval has found himself a long way from Vulcan... at the end of his, shall we say, 7 year cycle. Klaw is working tirelessly to try and control this condition, but may only be able to stall Koval's outbursts. Even worse, Daedalus is a long way from the nearest Vulcan ship...Koval's days may be numbered.

In the Belt, Ionic storms and subspace eddies were forming at an alarming rate. Daedalus was hit with a number of disturbances while exploring the region.

A long range probe that had been launched from Daedalus discovered an inhabited planet on the other side of the field, Daedalus went to investigate and was immediately greeted by Minister Boval, of Bajor.

The minister invited Commander Scott and his people down for their morning meal, and that's when the story took a turn.

At the centerfold of the room, stood a spire in which the Minister kept the Orb of Wisdom. While discussing Bajoran spiritual beliefs, the spire opened itself, and displayed the orb case. Then, the Case opened, and engulfed Jeremey Scott in a bright white light. Collapsing to the ground, Scott was unconscious, and unresponsive.

Meanwhile, Jeremey Scott awoke on Daedalus at the sight of Lieutenant Klaw (Note the rank...), with his last memory being of Bajor, Klaw informed the commander that They hadn't been to Bajor in over a year...

Daedalus was part of a Coalition Battlegroup taking an offensive against the Romulan Empire. None of this sparked any memory in Scott's mind. Klaw shrugged it off as some amnesia from the blow to his head, and decided that a tour of the ship may help him recall his missing memories.

Their first stop, the bridge. Lieutenant Commander Tancredi assumed command after the last incident with the romulans 3 days ago, in which commander Scott was injured. Tancredi and the bridge crew were excited to see their CO on his feet, but saddened by the fact that his memory was gone.

The tour started and ended there, when a Romulan Ambush derailed the war train. The 20 ship battlegroup was facing a Romulan force 3 times as strong. Scott took the Helm, and Daedalus did her duty, to hold out as long as she could - until they could escape.

Warp troubles saw an end to their warping out of the area, and in the end - the romulan bombardment destroyed Daedalus - and the entire battlegroup.

A White light enveloped Jeremey Scott, as he and Klaw stood on the Bridge, surrounded by the burned corpses of the crew. Klaw identified himself as 'an explorer' who was using the orb of wisdom to warn Scott of the coming horror. This offensive to the Deneva system is a fixed point in time, but it's outcome - is not. The Explorer warned Commander Scott to trust in his friends, and seek the real enemy. "The Romulans are only one side of the coin - the real trick is to find who's flipping the coin".

on Bajor, Klaw was called down to treat Commander Scott, and managed to sever the telepathic link between Scott and the Orb. Scott awoke from his ordeal, a little wiser, and definitely hungry...

Overall, I'm happy - This was a hard episode to write - I wanted to maintain a great deal of mystery - for everyone involved.....but still make it something that most people could follow (How'd I do on that front?)

The "Tween Season" will kick off soon (Not sure when) but it will host some specials pertaining to (and not limited to):

Walter Pierce's Early days in Starfleet
Walter Pierce's Capture and the Dawn of the Earth-Romulan War
Jeremey Scott's Navy Record
"The Mysterious Benefactor" And the CoB (Rick Peters)
P'Trell's All Important Research
Growing unrest in the Klingon Empire
(And probably more to come - these are all rough ideas right now...)
