for some reason i can type in the chat box but i cant actually post anything and dont seem to be seeing any posts either :S can anyone help meh?

Odd--I'm on IE right now on Windows 7 and don't have any trouble--have you tried compatibility mode?

And click the button that looks like a little paper ripped in half. Reload the site, you're in comparability mode.
