The now Starfleet Commodore digs at the top of the ladder as Commander Chaplain is summoned to Starbase 215 - delaying the shore leave which the crew had been preparing for. Counsellor Tabor turns his attention to the once emotionally scarred Jack Willis while John Adams goes head to head with Professor Fox - opening a competing establishment on the Promenade.
Meanwhile, President Taylor faces a backlash over collateral damage sustained during the execution of Operation Dawnstar and the science department hears whispers of the nano-virus discovered in 2383.
