As a part of the Operation Delta Rising initiative, the
Amarante has been assigned by Admiral Tuvok to re-trace the course of the troubled U.S.S.
Equinox. Our goal is to re-establish contact with the races they've encountered and make the Alliance's presence in the Delta Quadrant known as a friendly one. Once we've completed this route, we're to return to Starbase 234 along a course around the galactic rim on a mission of exploration. Given advances in propulsion technology, we should be able to complete this mission no later than 2415.
