Title: RPG-X Warning Message On Start Up [RESOLVED]
Post by: Paenitet on September 05, 2016, 11:38:58 AM
Ever since I downloaded RPG-X, evertime I use it the next time I log in to my laptop this message comes up:

(https://last-outpost.net/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimage.prntscr.com%2Fimage%2Fb06a624970ce4b7f8d2b1056f92dc62b.png&hash=f2eaacdf2ca2881923cf299b87e688a17c606c99)

It used to be just Program, but I pressed rename as it said. Then I think I used RPG-X again and next time I log in it says the same thing but with Program(2). Then this kept carrying on and now it's at Program(5). If I press rename it seems to get rid of it but for then if I use RPG-X again it'll just come up with Program(6) next time, so I currently keep pressing ignore, to which it continues to come up evertime I log in.

The files appear here it seems:

Just thought I'd let y'all know.

Can you let me know what is inside it? what you might want to try depending on what's inside is uninstalling RPG-X deleting all of the program folders then reinstalling it inside the correct dirctory " Program Files"

Here's screenshots to what's inside them:

That's what inside Program 1 and 2. Program 3 and 4 are the same apart from:

Delete all of those folders and reinstall but when you do make sure it installs into your Program Files directory.

It looks like it's got the link for the temporary files wrong somehow. A reinstall should fix this, and delete all the folders.

You need to go into the BaseEF folder of your game install, open autoexec.cfg in Notepad, and remove the fs_homepath line. Save it, then delete the folders and it won't be a problem. It technically shouldn't be creating new folders every time it starts up, so I'll have to look into that.
