The RMS Titanic. In 1912 it was the, and still to this day, The worst civilian maritime disaster in British History.
The RMS Titanic was a large Olympic Class Ocean Liner built by Harland and Wolff for the White Star Line (Now owned by Cunard Lines) It will so be April 15th 2012, the 100th Anniversary of its sinking with over 1,517 people lost.
Now, I say we honour those who died in our own RP Even on the S.S Titanic. The Federation's latest and greatest Luxury Starliner. We have map's that would fit well for it and we would essentially be replaying the Titanic's short 5 day life in Star Trek. Personally the Titanic is quite close to me because if a certain Maid in 1912 did not fall ill and be replaced by someone else, My Great-Grandmother as a Maid's Assistant would of gone on the Titanic and most likely would of died (And I would not be here)
We should always remember those who died before us be it in Military conflict or tragic disaster's.

Event Name: Star Trek: Attack on Starbase 253
Event Game: Armada II
Event Runner: CmdrSFC3
Expected Length: 1hr30 - 2 hr
Event Summary: Starbase 253 is a base in the Gamma Quadrant. Under command of the Cmdr. Barnes, the station has been the primary starbase for operations in the Quadrant. Although, the outbreak of the Dominion War has taken a toll on the base. Frequent counterattacks by Dominion Attack Vessels, and suicide runs have weakened the base. Now, Dominion forces plan a bigger attack, and Cmdr. Barnes knows this. Although, all communications to Starfleet Command or being jammed. With the help of the secondary Klingon base in the area, the two bases must work together to stay alive....

Event Name: Starfleet Intelligence: Life after Death
Event Game: RPG-X
Event Runner: criminula
Expected Length: 1 1/2 - 2 hours
Event Summary: StarFleet command has received reports from a small resource collection fleet on the edge of the neutral zone, of officers returning from the dead. Seeing it as a delicate matter, they awaken StarFleet Intelligence, who send a team to investigate, and hopefully resolve, the matter. Armed with words, shiny badges and lots of authority, the team travels in the delta flyer, with its transwarp capabilities restored, and are due to arrive soon. With the fleet, the situation worsens, and the fleet commander begins to take drastic action, and back at home, StarFleet Intelligence breaks in to a dark secret that has laid under the radar for many years.
