The norsim are a group of semi-humanoid beings, they're main difference being the Norsim's large pointed ears, They started on the planet of angelicos and soon became a space fairing race, freely joining the alliance. The strange thing about this species is their ability to regenerate, they are like a phoenix in the regard that they explode in a large burst of fire, strong enough to severely damage a ship, then they are reborn looking the same yet remember little about their past life. Most heavy plasma weapons are enough to stop this regeneration or severely complicate it.
The Norsim take peace seriously, but are very fierce when it comes to protection of the peace. They prefer positions of science and medical over tactical and engineering, but many have been known to be fine tactical officers.
They can usually live up to 130 years before their regeneration must take place. They reproduce sexually and children are among the most treasured beings in their society.
