The Phoenix hurtled towards the Tholian-Federation border, shields cascading against the onslaught of fire being thrown at the ship by the trailing fleet. A direct hit to the warp engines injured several of the crew, Captain He in particular receiving a severe blow to the head. With no other options left, the Captain was forced to improvise a bluff. She gave Cameron specifications for a classified particle, and told him to create the illusion that the ship was emitting readings consistent with it. Almost immediately, the Tholians ceased firing and retreated.
Though the ship was left with some downtime, Captain He's refusal to seek medical attention for her injury resulted in her behavior gradually becoming erratic as she lost blood. She ordered that Barnes detain Cameron in the brig, and she started to become incoherent. The problem was compounded when the ship's warp field collapsed, the abrupt deceleration killing the helmsman and sending the Phoenix tumbling down into the atmosphere, crashing into the surface at high velocity.
Who survived? It's anyone's guess...

2/10 it was alright ~IGN
I didn't plan on the Captain going crazy, but it was actually an excellent meta reference to the episode title and its origins. One of the most popular theories surrounding The Wizard of Oz is that Dorothy was mentally ill. Nicely done, Telex. I think the crash was sufficiently dramatic.

I didn't shoot the helmsman. He hit his head when we came out of warp.

I don't see you around on the forums much, but I want you to know you're doing a really good job as CSO. ;)
Brilliant! Everyone seemed to have lots to do and a good story, building on what had already been said earlier. Great fun and I loved the coin toss thing, throwing a random element into the RP.
Loved it!
The coin was a 1976 German pfennig. No idea how I had that...

Fixed the summary, sorry. That bit was a little hard to follow.
