Title: Episode 14: Solstice
Post by: Telex Ferra on January 24, 2015, 11:25:06 AM
Sunday, 1/25/15 at 3:30 pm EST, 8:30pm GMT on the Spicy Server!

With only a partial coordinate for the next piece of evidence, the crew waits as the computer crunches the numbers. A sudden surge in malfunctions brings station operations to a halt.

This episode will focus on character development and will be very, very freeform. Now is your chance to flesh out your characters before we proceed with the main story arc!

So what happened?

We tried to retrieve one of the alien stasis pods from the transporter buffer to study it for a longer-term solution to the storage problem, but keeping them temporally displaced for so long caused a build-up of chronitons. When we tried to access the pattern buffer, that chroniton backwash fed back into the power grid and started overloading the temporal core. The control interface was unresponsive, so Giovanni had to physically cut power to the transporter system, which crashed the buffer and lost the aliens' patterns.
