Title: Console help - /spawnChar [RESOLVED]
Post by: Surok on August 08, 2013, 09:34:37 AM
I'm currently trying to get better acquainted with the RPGX-console and find out more about it's "hidden" powers.

Using the "/spawnChar" command, is it possible to specify where the new character will be spawned?
Also, is it possible to specify what character to spawn?
In short, what parameters does the /spawnChar command accept?

The only time I've ever used something like this is when logged in as admin. As an admin, you can bind a command to a key that will spawn a char.

That char that's spawned is spawned exactly where you're standing, with his body facing the way you are facing. (note that if your char's body is facing 0* but your head is turned to 30* then when you spawn a char, that char's body and head will be facing 30*) Also, the char will do any emote you were doing when you pressed the spawn button.

Thanks for the reply!  :) I actually got that "clone-myself"-spawn working. I was thinking more in lines of spawning a different character at a different place performing a different emote.
I don't know if it even is possible, but I'd very much like it to be...

Console output when "a clone" is spawned:

Just change models - go where you want - use the emote you want, and Spawn a char - that's the only way I know to do that.
