Title: Star Trek: First Steps: DAY and TIME
Post by: Telex Ferra on April 12, 2013, 12:12:16 AM
Every Sunday at 12:45 EST, this is presently 17:45 BST

IF THERE IS ANY CONFUSION, the plot is running at 12:45 EST! So if the clocks in the UK and US are not aligned, figure out when 12:45 EST is and attend the SRP at that time. Do NOT go by the BST/GMT time.

Start Date: Sunday, May 19

Sundays before BI would be the absolute best time for me - any other day would be hit or miss (mostly miss)

Agreed. In my case, the earlier the better. :P

Same here - if it was exactly the same I would likely have to leave early every few episodes.

The time, like i already mentioned to Grizz when it was AB's slot and Andromeda when it was Ishi's slot, we usually have dinner at or right before that time, so if i would join, i would probably be 30 mins to an hour late.

Time that works best for me: Saturday Or Sunday, (Starting Time) 15:00-17:00 GMT.

Actually, I could really do that time any day.

With the start time posted, can everyone signed up please confirm here that they can make it? If not, I may need to move some people around.

Certainly do-able, thanks for accommodating the world!

EDIT
Yeahh...on an (early) Monday morning, but the point is I expected a lot worse. :P

15 minutes earlier perhaps? 45 is surely a odd number  ;D

I'm trying to give Grizz an opportunity to do what she needs to do before coming while still giving us enough time to have a decently sized break before BI

This time is acceptable.

I can't make it at that time. Well I would but I'd only be able to be on there for an hour at most if I'm very lucky.

I could do slightly earlier, but not that late.

Only about 30 minutes earlier should be enough though....

12:45 EST in the morning? How long do these things last? That might force me to pull an all-nighter if I want to join in late.

1245 EST is 45 minutes after noon

I may not know how time works, mostly because I don't even know what noon is. Don't you judge me with those eyes... Anyway, is that like 1:45 pm?

The RP starts at 12:45 PM EST, that's when the sun is still up and you've just eaten lunch.

I get the noon thing, but my time system goes like 12am 1am 2am 3am 4am 5am 6am 7am 8am 9am 10am 11am 12pm 1pm 2pm 3pm 4pm 5pm 6pm 7pm 8pm 9pm 10pm 11pm then back to 12. I have no clue about these 0000 things. My timezone is EST, I know that for a fact at least.

The SRP starts at 12:45 PM EDT/EST.

12PM is Noon. I'm in EST so.

0000 is a form of time. 0000 can be the start of the day, 12AM, etc.

I just realized the mistake I made, and now I'm going to bash my head into a wall as punishment.
