For the past week, all 16 ships have been huddled in a Mutara class nebula, discussing their next course of action.

The Vulcans feel that Commodore Nolan's plan is illogical, however they are presently unable to offer a safe solution for returning to Coalition space so "For the time being, we will assist you".

The Andorian captains are seeking nothing more than vengeance for the occupation of their homeworld

The Tellarite ship is quite frankly just stuck. Unhappy to be drafted into Nolan's plan - but "What else am I going to do?"

As for the 11 Earth ships, Nolan is examining their command structures, and reassigning officers to help maximize the effectiveness of the entire fleet. The new Task Force Sierra is very soon going to be split up, and sent on various tasks to wear down the Romulan war effort....

Meanwhile, just a few sectors away - a battle is raging on between a ship out of time, and a highly over powered vessel with technology beyond their knowledge...

(Also - Please ignore the chunk missing on the Defiant.... *sigh* I suck at image editing :P)

A few quick notes:

The episode is going to start with me yelling at String.... THIS IS NOT A DRILL! - THIS IS FOR REAL PEOPLE! :D :P

This is a Defiant Episode - and you can wager a guess what the last (ish) line is hinting at...

You may notice that there are no ranks on the roster. That's because rank has no meaning on the ship. In the eyes of Starfleet, they are no longer active service members - In the eyes of The Tholians, they are thieves for stealing the ship and slaves, and in the eyes of Section 31 - They're targets to eliminate. In short - ponder on your Defiant character. Who are they, who were they?

A lack of rank does NOT mean a total lack of Hierarchy. All you really need to know is Peters is in charge - beyond that, he'll assign people where he needs them :P (And NO, we're just on a Terran Empire Ship - we are NOT Terran Empire...)

I think the last note I want to make is this: dress however you want (within reason). Defiant has been out and about for nearly 2 years now... so get comfortable with it - I'm sure your characters would be :)

I'm saddened by the few who won't be here (Thank you for letting me know :) ) - I'm hoping that this becomes one of my better episodes - (We'll see)

I have a lot of fun stuff planned to help progress the overall arc forward...


A quick potential spoiler.... we may end up finding a massive future target - that is closely related to the advanced tech of the Romulan Dreadnaughts...

So - I sorta managed to work that hole in the ship in after all :P


Next week - Nova holds off a Romulan Attack, to cover Defiant from some unexpected engine troubles....
