BORG SET FUTURE:
Many of us, including me, were scared about the propbable disappearing of the current Borg set as we know it on the main server. Fortunately, I have now relaxing and really good news for all of you! The Borg set is not going away, it's staying!
Now you surely wanna know how you can claim the Borg set after the F2P build makes it's move to the main server. It's quite easy, I'll gladly explain it to you:
Go to Deep Space Nine after the F2P change has been done. There is Admiral (no more Captain lol) D'Vak now - he's no longer at Battlegroup Omega by the transwarp gate - with his small Elite strike force team, selling the nice epic STF gear to you. The Borg set is now there, officially renamed as "Retro Borg Set".
You can get one piece of the set for 5 "Encrypted Datachip" files, the entire set will therefore cost you only 15 chips. Those chips can be claimed as loot reward or even as a boss drop (optional goal) in the newly styled STF's. The universal console is still a free (one console per ship, but not a unique item) reward from the standard episode "Assimilation" at NGC-4447 in Gamma Orionis.

DUTY OFFICER SYSTEM
Now some news about the Duty Officer system bug that we encountered yesterday around this time. There was a short timeframe when duty officer assignments could not be turned in properly. You didn't get any rewards for them. There was no more a button "Collect Rewards", but only a button "Acknowledge Report" which usually only appears if you had a negative result without any rewards.
That bug was fixed a few hours later. Assignments that went finished during the bugged timeframe will not give you any rewards, so just turn them in and forget about them. It's a minor bummer, I admit, but better than losing half of your doff complement.

If that's the old Borg Set what and were is the new one? :P
You need to get the new sets MACO and Kellerun with either encrypted datachips or salvage. For the MK XII version you need prototype stuff. Do some STF's and you'll find them, and probably people will tell you about them as well. If you wish to see all the items you need to get what you want, go to DS9 and talk to the various vendors who sell STF gear and the stuff to get it. :)
Ah, ok. :) Thank you. :)
