President of the Last Outpost
Senate Nominations are now closed, and Q&A topics are now up in the Wardroom. Members can ask our Senate candidates questions, and candidates may make statements in their relevant topics.
Please remember to keep all questions respectful and remember that forum rules and the CoC apply. Please also try to avoid repeating questions that have been already answered by candidates.
The Q&A topics will remain up until the close of the election poll. The election poll will open on Thursday the 14th, and close Tuesday the 19th.
As a note on Q and A topics: I've had to remove or edit posts from a few different people for a variety of different reasons. I would ask members to try to remember in Q and A topics to:
1. Simply ask questions, don't editorialize.
2. Unless you are the candidate whose name is on the thread, please do not post anything except questions for the candidate. Please do not post comments or statements.
3. Don't repeat questions previously answered
4. If you feel a question is inappropriate, don't call out the individual on it, but contact me and I will examine the question and make a determination in my role as election moderator.
5. Always be respectful in both asking questions, and answering questions.
Your cooperation is appreciated. As always, I can and will edit and/or remove posts that I deem to be inappropriate for the Q and A threads in my capacity as election moderator.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
The Senate election poll is now up in the Polling Booth. Members may cast their votes here (//http://www.last-outpost.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3883&view=unread#unread).
I ask that members not make any posts in the election poll thread. If you have any questions for candidates, please ask them in the relevant Q and A thread.
Good luck to all those who are running!
