Bit of character backstory (Optional, but nice to know what sort of thing you did before SIS): Trish Jackson is 24 years old born in Las Vegas, lived on her own a few miles away from her folks she still see them time to time until one year her parents got killed by a serial killer and she finally got the man who murdered her parents. As years went by she continued to work with the police for 6 years and she wanted to do something different. Then on one day she saw a flyer on the wall where she worked asking for a work in Starfleet SIS, so she applied for a job and she got it what she always wanted.

Unless Crim is going someplace different with the role, the Probationary Agent is the newest agent on the team. Often the youngest, least field experience, and most eager to learn. Sometimes they are picked on for their role, but usually in a loving way. Sort of the "little brother/sister" of the team.

I'm guessing Griff's psychic powers are greater than I first imagined, he's got everything more or less spot on. Probationary agent is a kind of step between a new recruit in full-time training and a fully fledged SIS Field Agent. They have the bulk of the rights of a standard field agent (Although slightly lower clearance), but have a closer moderation of their work combined with increased instruction. Generally one is assigned per team, and they are primarily the responsibility of the senior agent leading that team. Griff's description of team interactions is also perfect. Of course, the relationship may work out differently depending on how things go, but that is generally how I expected it to pan out. If you've seen much NCIS, then you'll understand the main inspiration for my team organisation.
