ASTEROID BASE SEASON ONE
- Believing there to be evidence of life which previously inhabited Accobar III, Doctor David Rush coordinated with Starfleet to put together an expedition to the surface.
- Soon after Asteroid Base: Alpha was established, The Cult of Romulus took an interest in reclaiming the star system – in search of something buried on the planet.
- The science team set up a research facility on the surface and began delicate excavation work. Later in the year, they discovered writings in various rock faces and on stone tablets. The civilisation was deemed to have been primitive.
- Towards the end of the year Rush presented a series of recovered artefacts, from an excavated gallery, to Captain Munro. Seemingly some kind of jewellery, Munro placed an elaborate bracelet on her wrist – which transported both her and Doctor Rush to an alternate universe – where they faced a villainous General Walter Peirce.
- Upon their return, the device was placed in containment. Rush concluded, due to markings on the bracelet, that it belonged to the Accobar Civilisation – possibly not as primitive as first believed.
ASTEROID BASE SEASON TWO
- At the start of the new year, a leading member of the science team contracted an infection on the surface – which led to the contamination of the station. Although the situation was resolved, the gallery was sealed and the science team halted work.
- When Ian Campbell (a senior Illuminati figure) took control of the station, he ordered the continuation of excavation works on the surface. At an unknown point during his tenure, he accessed the now-dubbed 'Accobar Control Bracelet' and used it to leave the station – presumably to the alternate Universe. The alternate Walter Peirce later used the control bracelet on their side to attack the station. He was seemingly killed due to efforts by the crew to resolve the situation.
- Upon her return, Munro allowed the science team to continue work – believing that they need to locate whatever the Romulans and the Illuminati both want control over. This led to the discovery of a large underground device. Its full measurements could not be determined. Its purpose could not be determined. Its accessibility could not be determined.
- Shortly before G'rath's take over, Rush experimented with the Control Bracelet with Daniel Thrace. Through their actions, a brief connection was made between Asteroid Base: Alpha and the 'Accobar Device.'
- While fleeing from Illuminati fighters in the Accobar System, a large energy build-up was detected on Accobar III. A large energy wave erupted from the site of the underground device and engulfed the Illuminati ships. The fleet vanished without a trace and the device went back to its dormant state.
- Later attempts to access the device failed. However, Daniel Thrace, David Rush & Lexi Etis discovered an alien database hidden in AB: Alpha's computer core. An attempt to decrypt the files resulted in a massive data loss across the station. Soon after, Lexi Etis was abducted and sold into slavery.
- Although recovered, the reasons for her kidnapping were not clear. Three years later, G'rath admitted to Lexi's sister (Jemma), that she had come close to discovering something the Illuminati would rather her not find.
- That day, G'rath wiped out AB: Alpha's operations centre – killing Sion Bryn and injuring Lexi.
- Throughout both years of work – the science team continued to encounter one translated name. Denara Clarke.
ASTEROID FIELD SEASON ONE
- Prior to G'rath's return, Doctor Renee Hampton & Lieutenant Daniel Thrace replaced David Rush on the science project. The Accobar III research facility now housed an extensive operation to safety uncover the Accobar Device
- On Pioneer Station, Daniel Thrace was responsible for isolating AB: Alpha's alien database and transferring it to its new home – where he would begin work on decrypting it – alongside Jemma Etis.
- On the first real attempt to access the information within, the station suffered a similar data and power loss to that of AB: Alpha. Only this time, an apparent holographic image was displayed. A woman, believed to be Denara Clarke, warned the science team not to continue their exploratory efforts.
- Hampton put the team on hold once more, but was eventually overruled and work continued on recovering the lost data.
- On the day that this was finally accomplished – Jemma Etis worked late in the science laboratory. The terminal she was working at began to display the same phrase again and again – "HELP ME"
- Moments later, she was shown a series of images. Illuminati fighters surrounding the station. The destruction of the Athena. The activation of the Accobar Device. The Hobus Star collapsing.
- In the weeks and months since, Illuminati fighters laid siege to the system, and the USS Athena was destroyed... along with their only version of the Control Bracelet.
This season-by-season synopsis is a great way for us newer members to catch up on RPs. This should be mandatory for all then! A great read. :)
Yup, nice sumarry there Grizz, may i add however:
Quote- That day, G'rath wiped out AB: Alpha's operations centre – killing Lexi.
In RP she was admitted to sickbay but remained in a coma due to the trauma from the blast.
Corrected. It was Bryn I killed ; )
