Day 1: The DeviceSunday May 7th, 2380Genesis Station, Sector 22757 orbiting binary star "Calypso". A week after the engineers completed the Omega 13, Starfleet's first successful attempt to build a stable, permanent Quantum Tunneling device. The device has been operating nominally the entire time, and Chief Scientist Dr.Talla P'Trell together with her scientific staff has conducted two successful trials with the new system, one reception and one transmission of data, where the message was received before it was sent, proving the concept of the Quantum Tunneling device and conclusively showing time travel is in fact possible, albeit still on a quantum level.
A third trial is about to commence when the station Commander calls a halt to all activity on the station and red alert is initiated. An eerie silence befalls the station... The facility shocks and trembles, power starts to fail and a cascade reaction finds its way to the Omega 13. Dr. P'Trell tries to stop it, hitting the kill-switch on the device when Genesis Station is bathed in a bright, warm, fluorescent wave of energy...
Monday May 1st, 2380When Dr. P'Trell open her eyes, she finds herself in front of the Omega 13's console, taking her hand off the activation button that activated the device under loud applause of her colleagues and Genesis Station crew... on May 1st, 2380...
Things seem the same as a week ago, are they?
When science and politics collide mutual respect and understanding have to prevail.
One thing is certain: Dr. P'Trell won't solve this mystery on her own, who will help her?
