With engineering having finished their repairs, everything was prepared for the second Omega 13 test, the sending of a message into the past. The message contents, the same as received Tuesday "Scylla has awoken.". Before the test could take place, Mr Goodman noticed some fluctuations in one of the two of the binary sun Calypso in the system. There were only minor fluctuations in the sun's surface activity and would not disturb the trial.
So, the trial went on, a quantum particle was loaded up and a message was inserted, however, Dr. P'trell and Chief Li made a bold move by altering the message contents to "Heading for Charybdis", symbolizing the potential risk in doing this as she might well be changing the past without knowledge of what might happen. The message is successfully send however, space and time are still intact and the multiverse theory is proven: a different timeline has now received the message that was send.
This was a bit of a slow episode, but a key moment in the series since it was now apparent that the Omega 13 is an indirect link to a different timeline somehow. If you remember, rate and discuss below!
