A joint task force. Station Nerada. The Neutral Zone. These things all put together seem like the recipe for a political disaster, but they are instead the ingredients for a flourishing new endeavor. Station Nerada represents the new joint operation between the Romulan Star Empire and the Federation. The USS Ariana, a tactical transport, carried both the Starfleet and Romulan crews to their new destination. Station Nerada: built into a planetary object, the station serves as a scientific effort between both peoples. Their first challenge? Figure out the new VI system. Astra is the new system designed to replace the clunky old LCARS system. This is an effort to join the Federation and Romulan technologies.
We've learned that some people are VI-phobic, others are simply skeptical. The only other thing we know for sure is that the crews have embarked on a mission that is already off to an energetic start! Please rate the episode and leave a few thoughts if you'd like!
