Welcome to The Last Outpost's Academy!
The Academy has information on all supported games, it is a great start for any new member here, so why not read a few things? You may even learn a thing or two. Now, you may or may not have a ton of experience in the games you joined TLO for, but we have both of those covered! Each game curriculum is separated into two parts. The Core Curriculum, which is where the basics of the game are explained, and the Advanced Studies, which is where more advanced aspects are explained.If you already have experience in a game, you should check out the Advanced Studies.
Do you still need help afterwards?
If you are having trouble in one of the games, or on TLO itself - The Academy Faculty will help you. The faculty are chosen by the Academy Dean to help in the Academy, they all have different jobs, but if you see someone with a green name, and need help, ask them and they will help. Unfortunately - not all faculty are experienced in all games, but don't worry! You can post in this division with your question, and we'll answer.
You should consider doing these next...
Now that you're familiar with one of TLO's divisions - you should explore the site! The Last Outpost has many things to do, with an expanding community, there is always something to do. All division heads are part of The Cabinet, which makes decisions for The Last Outpost as a whole. Every two weeks on Saturdays, a meeting takes place. Anybody is welcome for the 'open session' - or the first part, so that is one way to contribute to TLO. You should also check out a few discussions in the Café (http://www.last-outpost.net/forum/index.php/board,60.0.html) or maybe start a new one. With so many things to do here at TLO, why don't you start posting?
