I wonder if two persons will come face to face again. I also wonder where some of our crew members have gone...

'Honor For All' Four Teasers
1 - Her prominence in the Red Dawn investigation leaves Mason assisting from aboard Gaila's ship for much of the episode.
2 - Gaila is tasked maintaining the away team's cover while dealing with his untrusting Klingon associates.
3 - Etis, Rogan, McClintock & co. don't exactly have a straight route to Costello's holding area.
4 - The events of 2387-88 finally take their toll on a character.
This is today - attendance permitting. Cabinet members, please make use of the SRP amendment to EO28 (http://www.last-outpost.net/forum/index.php/topic,7082.0.html) as a prompt start (for once this half-season :P) is vital.
Introduction to 'Honor For All' by Grizz
Well, I haven't done one of these for a while, but it is a special occasion. The Red Dawn storyline has had the usual nature of branching across two seasons as opposed to the usual fare. It also happened to be cut up by three mid-season breaks and was interrupted by the Hobus supernova. So I admit, it has been a very slow burn - perhaps too slow. This story began in September 2013. This 10-week season began in February 2014. My dream of a more streamlined run obviously didn't come to pass - but we make the most of the time we have.
'Honor for All' very much draws influence from the first season finale of Asteroid Base - a finale which was very much low-key to those which followed. An away team taking a small ship to the secret base of the enemy to rescue a crew-member - sounds very familiar and deliberately so. The entire idea of Costello falling victim to exposure when an undercover assignment goes wrong is a reminder of how this entire journey started as Amber Munro fell under those exact circumstances throughout ST:AB's backstory.
It is also tapping in to the events of the opening of this season. The events of the opening three episodes of the season have weighed heavily on Pioneer's latest Commanding Officer, who is still looking for a way to make up for the loss of the medical frigate. Not leaving Costello behind is a step towards doing so. Speaking of the Aletheia - we're finally going to be getting some answers as this particular story draws to a close. Not to mention that briefcase full of intelligence left behind within the ship's cargo.
Walter Peirce awaits.
