Episode 1 :Attrition
Admiral Javier Amargo gathered the newly formed Task Force Discovery at Outpost 47.
Then Starfleet received a distress call from Doctor Coal's research team stationed at the Spire, they reported that Voth ships were on an intercept course. Amargo quickly created a strike team to retake the Spire and to save the research team , but only to find out that it was already too late. All the research team members have been killed before the assault. Discovery then found out why the Voth were assaulting the Spire : A ship called the ''Obelisk''. It was docked with the Spire but the team has been unable to get it as the Spire has been damaged in the attack. The Task Force agree that it is of upmost importance that the Obelisk be discovered before it can get into the wrong hands.
