The crew knew the Commodore very well until his death on board the Lexington during his last cruise. Although, the crew seem hesitant that his daughter will be taking command of the Lexington, due to only having graduated from Starfleet Academy in 2279. After the memorial, Starfleet have issued extra orders that the Lexington's continuous voyage will be towards the Briar Patch in Sector 441 almost near to the edge of the neutral zone.
Star Trek: Lexington Episode I-II: The Briar Patch Mystery
The story begins with the crew of the USS Lexington, a Constitution Class exploration vessel that receives an incoming transmission from Starfleet Command about something mysterious happening in the Briar Patch. The Crew leaves Earth in their newly accustomed vessel and head to the designated location. The search begins as long and short range sensor sweeps using the modified deflector dish as an amplifier to boost the signal of the long range sensor relays, but with n contact after receiving their mission, they are heading into the unknown. What or Who will they come across? Will research be their guide in this?
The crew of the Lexington sense something strange on the sensors until the relays cut out and disengage, they end up flying blind without knowing the direction they are going in. With what lurks inside, the crew are unsure about what to do with their sensors being completely offline. They have a few choices but it could risk losing more power and end up adrift inside the Briar patch. The crews lives are in the hands of the Acting CO Lieutenant Commander Katie Wesley, with her guidance will they be able to continue their mission, or end up being lost?
Star Trek: Lexington Episode III: The Mystery Continues
The Lexington crew are becoming panicky, with the pressure mounting on the Captains shoulders, what she chooses whether it's to fly blind and continue the mission or find a way out of the area to get the sensors back up will be her decision. The Captain gathers the Department Chiefs together in a conference, to come up with a solution to this dire problem. Will they all agree or will they all start going mental?
Star Trek Lexington: Episode IV-V: Stressed and Stranded
The crew of the Lexington are becoming restless, until power is lost throughout the ship due to something unknown that has sucked the life out of the ships systems. With only Life Support and minimal Auxiliary Power, they have yet to decide whether to either stay alive or risk their own lives to solve the current problem. Why has the power throughout the ship suddenly disappeared? What or Who could've left the ship stranded, with only 1,000 Light years away from Earth, the Captain and the Crew gather in conference in the Mess Hall, going through a series of Jefferies Tubes, but something lurks onto the ship. With the ship stranded and the crew trying to get to the Mess Hall, something mysterious lurks throughout the ship, suddenly taking crewman by crewman until there is utter silence with only a few crewman left and the Captain. The remaining Crew members who arrive in the Mess Hall, wonder what it is that they'll have to do to survive. With more than 75% of the crewman mysteriously disappearing, it's up to the remaining Crewman and the Captain to undergo an investigation within their own ship. The Captain leads a group of Crewman through Jefferies Tubes 14 through to 45, and the remaining Crewman go through Jefferies Tubes 3 through to 47 until something happens. The remaining Crewman get taken by this unknown being which the Captain has no idea or nor does he know if it's a sentient species trying to survive, but whatever it is, it's devouring the crew. What will the Captains orders be against this unknown threat? Will they fight or will they try to get the power back on in Engineering?

Background History: (Will be put separately in a different board)
A couple of things, 2276 is TOS and as the Soverign class isn't brought in until the 2370s :P so it's probably best to either chance the time frame or ship class.
Also unless it's a ceremonial registry (for instance 1701) then generally registries are at least beyond NCC-75000 by that time. :P
Do you want to run this as a pilot in addition to your other one?
Well, preferably this one to the other one. I'll make the changes since it would be a Ceremonial Registry.
Here is an app, if you are taking them:
Name: Robert Bruce
Age:27
Race:Human
Model: Barclay2
Top 3 position choices: ACE, ENG, or ACSO
Biography: From his early life Robert loved space, watching documentaries on it, studying books about it in his free time, and other such things. He was impressed about how people like Montgomery Scott ran entire starships with their engineering crews. So, Robert went to the Starfleet Academy, taking classes in Engineering and various Scientific fields, getting good grades in all of them. He graduated 6 years ago and was assigned to the starship Enterprise as an engineer for 2 years, after which he was reassigned to the USS Lexington. He served under Commodore Wesley for 4 years, and was very sad to see him go, as he was a great commanding officer. He graduated the same year as Katie, and beacause of her inexperience compared to his previous captains he wasn't sure she was ready.
Noted, welcome aboard.
Oh, and quick thing, the Voyager was only stranded 70,000 light years away from earth, so unless we were traveling almost 225 years to get to the briar patch, your distance is unrealistic, as it would place us out in the space between the milky way and Andromeda galaxies. Maybe 750 to 1000 or so would be more realistic?
Touche again lol

Welcome aboard Shoot. Granted, Piper would probably have to act sceptical towards the new CO :P

He went through the motions of the academy, never letting his childhood dream of an exciting life hold him back as he was a bit of a trouble maker at the academy, but after much hard work he finally made it to the big time... Star Trek: Lexington
Pilot Episode Title: "Lexington's new Commanding Officer"
Writer: Sheia K'Ress
Pilot Air Date: 10-04-16 | 18:30 GMT | 13:30 EST
"It's your time now Katie Wesley"
Whilst the crew were in the Mess Hall, Admiral Charles Hewett from Starfleet arrived via shuttle craft to attend the memorial of Lieutenant Katie Wesley's Father, who died during his last cruise as Commanding Officer of the Lexington. When Admiral Hewett was issued with orders from the Starfleet Command Council, he informed Lieutenant Katie Wesley that even though he died, his memory will never be forgotten since the crew had already known him from the moment they stepped on board whilst he was in command. With that being said, Admiral Hewett made a Starfleet re-assignment issue, towards the Commodores daughter. By order of Starfleet, it gives them great honour to assign Katie Wesley as the Lexington's Acting Commanding Officer, with the rank of Lieutenant Commander. Although the crew clapped, they seemed a bit hesitant, including Katie's oldest friend Piper Chapman who became the First Officer, a few years before Katie was re-assigned to the ship. Once the order had been given, Admiral Hewett gave Lt. Cmdr Wesley new orders, to go to Sector 441 near the edge of the Neutral Zone, deep into Klingon space which she had always been sceptical about.
After the assignment and mission was set, they began to leave Dry dock Centauri, setting a plotted course and engaging the warp engines to maximum with a snag, the Dry-Dock Engineering Crews made a few systematic errors during the ship's refit before it's continuous 5 year voyage. In over 72 hours plus the extra hours during double shifting, the Acting Captain and her crew managed to finally get under way, heading towards the border of Klingon space. They thought, that by shutting down excess systems, but only keeping Impulse, Sensors, Shields and Weapons online that they would be safe, so they began to head towards the course they had plotted at the start, going in between two planets which would cause interference to the Klingon sensor patrol sentries.
Now the Lexington is back on course but in deep violation that would cause a war between the Federation and the Klingon Empire.
Will they get to Sector 441 without being seen?
Signs up are still open! With positions available!
Can i have my security character killed off so i can make a new character
So how did it go? Any reviews from the attendees?
Not too late to apply, is it?
Yes Hawk, you can make a new character.
From what they told me Telex, they did enjoy it and Shoot said it was great
And you'd have to wait until it's commission String :)
