With the large, and still unexplained vessel destroyed, the border between Olympian space and Hadin space has been remarkably quiet.

Having been recalled to Olympus, the crew of the Normandy are eager to return home, but the mission debrief quickly turns sour when the crew are faced with a formal inquiry, and Walter Peirce has been locked up.

Meanwhile, on the neighboring planet of Eden, the Ed'nari council have sought counsel from many of the religious leaders on the planet... and have come to a grave conclusion - the universe is coming to an end, and a Third Age of Darkness is upon us all.
