Richard Dover, a young - recently appointed Chief Executive of the Eden-Olympus Trading Company's Taurus Branch, has started cleaning house with a pile of bad paper work. Suddenly, He and his secretary discover the books have been cooked.

Fearing a scandal if this were to be made public, Dover finds a small crew, boards "David's Harp" and heads to the Coporate Headquarters on Eden - but before he can enter range of the Core Worlds, The Discovery of a lifetime is made, and the Company is now at risk from corruption within.
