Below is the list of the Genesis Station Crew. Some positions in this SRP differ from the usual set of positions on board a regular Starfleet station. At the bottom of the crew list is an explanation of these positions, these positions are also marked with an asterix *. Most of the science crew are not Starfleet officers but civillians, this is indicated by the lack of a rank and most of the engineering crew are working closely together with the science crew for maintenance and construction of science projects, most noticeably the Omega 13 device.

Positions will be given on a first come first serve base, except for some the special * marked positions, again, see below for details.

Position Explanation

Station Commander
The Station Commander has been assigned to Genesis Station by Starfleet in order to run its day to day business. The station itself is owned by a civillian corporation, it is meant as a research base, Dr. Talla P'Trell, head of research, has a final say in all things. However, since the station is also partially funded by Starfleet and located in Federation held space, the Station Commander handles the Starfleet side of regulating the station together with the Chief Operations & Traffic Control. This position is regarded as important. This means that you should only apply if you feel confident playing this role and can attend the SRP 90% of the times.

Chief Operations & Traffic Control
The Chief Operations & Traffic Control runs the station together with the station commander. The Chief Operations & Traffic Control is responsible for managing arriving and departing ships, transferring good and supplies and keeping supplies in order and making sure everything else on the station is in an operational state.

Chief Engineer & Project Construction
The Chief Engineer & Project Construction is basically just the chief engineer of the station. However, next to maintaining the station, he or she is also responsible for construction and maintenance of the various science projects running on the station. This position is also regarded as important, therefore please only apply if you feel confident playing this role and can attend the SRP 90% of the times.

Astrometrics Officer
The Astrometrics Officer is basically the Assistant Chief Science Officer. He/She helps out Dr. P'Trell with ongoing research whilst also working on maintaining the sectors astronavigation charts for Starfleet. This is also the only Starfleet officer on the science crew on board Genesis Station presently.

Chef & Entertainment Manager
The Chef of the station, researchers have to eat right? Also offers his listening ear from time to time and servers as a semi-councilor when the need arrises. Furthermore makes sure that the station crew is fed properly and that there is plenty of fun things going on around the station during off hours.

Alright, Rosted updated.

I tried to have a good look at where everyone would best fit in, so this means that some of you didn't got your first desired position (there where some doubles also so that wouldn't have been possible anyway). I devided it up based on the importance of a person attending more or less episodes and the information you gave about your probable attendancy level. Hopefully everyone is ok with the current division. I can assure you however that even if you did not get your first choise assigned, there will still be plenty for you to do in the SRP, so don't worry about it!

I just think four Engineers might be a bit too much, and the change of scenery would be great.

Certainly possible. I will make the change but it wont affect the story this season yet as we are going to go back in time and some people will be different characters every episode depending on the setting. I will post more information about that this week though, but when we get back to regular format i think we can work this shift of duties in nicely with the plot

I have noticed that the Character Creator no longer patches correctly - my player details never change from what I set in RPG-X. Really a hassle now I have more than one character..
