Aaawwww.

[Grizz]

I suppose this is somewhat relevant again... albeit outdated*

238 Hours in the Accobar System*

( Yes, that's 9 days spent playing on ab_release02 & station_vanderbilt_v3)

[Grizz]

The joint music pack for the Asteroid Base finale & Asteroid Field Season 5 will be released at some point tomorrow  Sorry for the late release - plans for the specials have gone down to the wire.

Due to the time of year, we don't have much flexibility - so I'll probably have to be the only one on the server to push back the first part of the special. Despite the more low-key approach this year, I hope to see most of you there tomorrow to embark on Amber Munro's final voyage - bringing Asteroid Base the closure it was almost robbed of... twice.

I'll also be sending messages tonight in regards to roles. There will be some nods to original cast members and former producers on the Relentless' roster. If you don't receive one, consider yourself playing your usual Asteroid Field character.

Thanks guys!

[Grizz]

This is in two hours.

( Music Pack was released separately: http://www.last-outpost.net/forum/index.php/topic,7664.0.html )

[Grizz]

Just over one hour to go.

If Enterprise-E fails us, we will jump on to Solaris - which you should all have already.

Please connect to the server will plenty of time to spare so we can deal with any issues. Thanks!

[Grizz]

"It was a message... they wanted us to see... that.. she's here. All hands! Battle Stations!"

Sel'tar is alive! At least, that's what Munro seemed to believed as a Romulan Ha'apax Warbird decloaked in front of the Relentless following the video footage showing that Sel'tar's body was removed from Daedalus moments before it's destruction seven years ago. The return of Vanguard & Klaw, evasive maneuvers, weapons fire, radiological discharges, phaser-heavy EVAs and the casual self-prophesying of Munro's heralded demise littered the first-half of the final Asteroid Base story prior to the encounter at Perdix.

Next week, the crew does battle in the corridors as a remnant yet powerful sect of the Cult of Romulus storms the ship in search of their prize... and the powers that be decide whether Munro should live or die.

If you're a newcomer who doesn't have a clue what is going on - never fear, we are going back years with this. But the fifth season of Asteroid Field is just around the corner for you! Thanks to the ten attendees today - hope to see many of you next week

[Vanguard]

I'll be there.

[Martin Thompson]

I will also most certainly be there! I actually wanted to be there yesterday but some stupid planning on my side prevented that (i really need to check dates better before i agree to help out somewhere next time XD).

[Shoot]

I am going to be there also just like yesterday, Grizz!

'Distorted Reflections: Part Two' Teasers

"A lot of people died to get us here. It's time. I'm ready."

1) The Relentless has flown in to a perfectly timed trap. But who sprung it and who tipped them off?

2) The combat in the episode is secondary to missions and characters from long ago.

3) Events from the pilot haven't been forgotten.

4) Neither has G'rath.

5) The wheels of destiny are in motion and all that remains is how it ends for Accobar's iconic commanding officer.

[Martin Thompson]

Can't wait for this. And this time, Lexi will be there!

[Grizz]

Hi guys

Unfortunately I've come down quite ill and currently don't expect to be much better tomorrow, though one can hope. I will confirm tomorrow morning, but it may be necessary to move the special back - to January at this stage. If this is the case, given the delay, then I'm going to do something unorthodox and completely reboot it. I'll rework the special and we'll start from scratch.

( I'll also be looking to have a rethink about the staffing situation, since I feel I made it a bit too detached by introducing one too many new characters - especially for a roleplay of this type. )

That's not to say I won't be marking the occasion. I'll hopefully be back on Monday 22nd - at 7pm, the date of the very first Asteroid Base, with some celebratory content.

I hope you understand - this certainly is the last thing I wanted -  and will look ahead to the rebooted special in the new year, and of course, the fifth season of Asteroid Field.

Thank you

[Lucas Picard]

I hope you get better soon Grizz!
it seems to be everywhere this bug I had it, my sister had it, my uncle has it and I mean everyone and everywhere.

[criminula]

I know what you mean Lucas, I had something near the end of last month also..

Anyways, hope you get well soon Grizz. Take what time you need - the universe will still be there, when you're ready.

[Martin Thompson]

Hey Grizz. Take care and get better soon (I've also come down with a bit of a cold but i'll live XD). Looking really forward to the special, so I'll be there even if it is in january.

See you then!
