Star Trek: Resolute Overview

[MStickney]

Please have mercy, this is my first time trying to write a plot that will span multiple episodes, it may be written in a cheesy way

The U.S.S. Resolute NCC 82734-C, under the command of Captain Matthew Stickney, has been assigned to a large hostile area of space called the Iconian Expanse. The Expanse is named for the ancient race, that resided originally in the region. The Iconian Expanse is bordered (using Earth cardinal directions for simplicity), to the South by the Federation, the the West by the Cardassian's and the Breen, to the North by the Great Barrier which surrounded the Galactic Core (as seen in Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, and the the
east by the Romulan Star Empire. Recently Cardassian rebels who opposed the peace treaty with the Federation, Romulan, and Klingon Alliance, calling themselves the "True Way" and have been attacking Federation and Romulan vessels traveling through the region, both powers have dispatched fleets to guard there civilians in the expanse. This is where the Resolute and her crew come in. In addition to guarding civilians, there are also thousands of unexplored systems in the region.
