Asteroid Field in 2016 [Updated]

Hey everyone,

I had hoped to put on a special episode this week to mark eight years since the adventures in the Accobar System began. Unfortunately it has been a very busy week in the run up to the holidays and the weekend will be similar. It wasn't a continuation of the Season Six storyline thus far and its events can take place at some point in the future - so I hope to bring them to life next year. I'll mark the occasion all the same some other way.

This does bring us to the end of the brief 2015 run of this season, though, so I would like to thank you for your voting this SRP back in to commission and your participation thus far, while giving you a few hints as to what is to come in 2016's first three episodes.

Episode 4 - "Blockade Runner" - Commander Menden finds himself at the behest of Arcadia's enigmatic new Governor for reasons that shall remain unknown for now. It introduces a host of new characters and sends the action spiraling off in a completely different and lawless direction. Hopefully quite a humorous installment after the opening trio. It's also my attempt to make up for the nonexistent Arcadia miniseries.

Episode 5 - "[Redacted]" - Doctor Rogan summons a former crew member to Starbase 215 just as unnatural phenomena ravage the station. Quite similar in design to "Hocus Pocus, Hokem," this, and speaking of former characters... there will be quite a few faces from the past appearing before the episode ends..

Episode 6 - "Internecine" - Mid-season. The Vega arc blasts back on the scene after another member of the crew learns of 'The Truth' and Captain Mason meets President Taylor for the first time.

A little bit of light before we plunge back into darkness (seewhatIdidthere) for the mid-season story, hopefully helping to keep this season balanced and starting the new year on brighter footing. I hope to see you all in 2016.
