Date: March 23, 2156
Airdate: Saturday, July 23rd at 13:30 EST (18:30 BST) (17:30 GMT)

Daedalus' downtime at the Regulus Fleet yard has ended more than a week ahead of schedule. With the help of a collaboration of engineers from across the coalition, and the expert knowledge of the Daedalus Crew, the ship is locked and loaded, awaiting her next mission.

The Re-assignment of now Captain Scott has left a hole onboard and recently promoted Commander P'Trell is working hard to fill it. With Admiral Williams helping Commander Scott settle in on Challenger, P'Trell will be taking Daedalus solo onto the front line.

The mission: Investigate the source of a High-energy discharge that was discovered just two days ago on a planet near the Front line.

A few notes:

I'm searching for a map for this episode (I doubt it's included in UE...) When I find the map, I'll dish it out. (It looks, however, like there will likely be 3 or 4 map changes... because no one map appears to be able to meet my needs )

This Episode is intended to be the Second in an arc surrounding some interesting characters...

Lastly, because of the map changes - please try and come early, so that we can start on time and give me the best shot to end on time too

Thank you!

Reminder - This is Tomorrow

Also, done or not... a new map update will be released by tomorrow morning. Please check the forums for updates!

*SIgh* looking at the checklist and the map, it's still a bit too unstable at the moment for a release. So, we're stuck with the old one again... for now

This is Today BTW!

So...

A brief Overview of this week.

We met the Arkellians, a pre-warp capable species that claims to have travelled the stars with the help of an Ancient Gateway, created by a race known as the Iconians.

The Arkellian Homeworld has been shrouded in a radioactive nebula - presumably as a result of a massive a warp core breach - though while details appear to be on the level, there's still some mystery here...

We learned that the Arkellians have made contact with the Romulan Empire, and that the Romulans also have a gateway.

We learned that a Starfleet Flag Officer is apparently being held prisoner by the Romulan Empire. This individual has been described as "Dark Hair, strong jaw" and he was "In rough shape"

While the Arkellian Story of a failed warp test seems plausible, there are still questions pertaining to their neutrality, and ultimately - their motives... Maybe the Arkellians will have another part in the stories to come...
