Server Admin Problem

Hi Guys,

On Section 31's server, i am a admin, however, when i try and set a admin feature like surface explosion, i get this wierd little ball appear, and then it explodes and hurts me and all players around it. I can't seem to change it! Any help?

Don't fire effects with the admin gun and make sure to always log in after respawning.

I don't! I always use ALT, but even then it's still coming up with this ball thing! :/

depands how big the surface explosion is. if its like normal size (like 80ish methink), shoul work. but generally, surface explosion cant hurt you. they dont :/

but that is a wierd glitched. i never encountered that when i was admin :/

Considering this is a RPG-X problem, might be worth checking out the http://www.ubergames.org/forums/ (Ubergames Forums).

As they developed the game, they might have some more resources and developers who can pinpoint your problem. ;)

I remember an issue like this years ago where one of the RPG-X 2.1 betas was causing people to shoot grenades instead of admin effects. Make sure your server is running ont he most recent version of rpg-x

depends if ther people can see it as well. if they can, somethings corrupt or glitched in your files. i can think of other possibilities but most of them involve everyone having the same problem. i advise for you go go onto the server with someone sometime and test it out.

It may be a cvar issue on your server's end.

is rpg_effectsgun set to 1 or 0?
