Announcements / Server Maintenance & Migration...
Last post by Callum603 - August 17, 2022, 02:44:08 AMA couple of days ago our host gave notice that our current servers will be taken offline within the month due to them phasing out support for the OpenVZ virtualisation.
As a result TLO will be undergoing server migrations and maintenance over the next few weeks, most of the moves should go unnoticed as old servers hand over to new, though you may notice brief periods of server downtime due to the way DNS propagates.
The TLO website will be moving to a new server also, and I will announce within the next 48 hours the plans for the site migration as this will cause downtime as old databases are made read only to prevent any data loss during the move.
Below is a list of servers that will be moving and their current status:
Any servers currently migrating may experience performance loss, downtime, and brief periods of limited availability due to DNS, servers awaiting migration are running on the old servers, and servers migrated should be functioning normally at their new home.
I am taking this opportunity to also update server OS' and software to the latest long term support options to prevent us having any planned extended maintenance again in the near future.
I will keep this thread updated with any relevant information regarding the migrations.

Introduce Yourself! / Re: Hi all!
Last post by TyGraff - August 01, 2022, 11:40:36 PMWhoa... that's wild! I couldn't have told you the names of the RP groups I was in anymore; it's been ages. But YES!! I just dug up some old files and found my old signature pic. I had made a template and was making signatures for plenty of other folks, as well. And apparently, I still have them all.
And not just for FR, either.. other groups, as well. I definitely remember ST:RP and Elite Role Play, too.
Wow... those were the days! So many memories flowing back now! There's no way I'm posting that old signature pic, but check this out! I couldn't tell you why I made this for certain, but I do actually think it was posted to the website at one point - circa summer of 2005, so actually 17 years ago (again - crazy).

Introduce Yourself! / Hi all!
Last post by TyGraff - August 01, 2022, 09:39:36 PMHi everyone! I'm not sure how actively anyone here still plays RPG-X, but I was very happy to find this group! I used to play daily back in high school.. a good 15 years ago.. and would love to do so again! I just re-downloaded RPG-X, and was shocked to find just how many control panels' controls I remembered, on multiple maps, too! I guess it's like riding a bike. Anyway, hopefully I'll be able to join an RP at some point!

Last post by Serris - June 16, 2022, 10:29:42 PMYou can grab the Holomatch multiplayer of Elite Force for free here. It's compatible with Windows 7 and Windows 10, but has compatibility problems on some systems running Windows 11. Your mileage may vary.
