Episode Summary: Ten years following the Illuminati's successful slow-burning takeover of Federation power in the Alpha Quadrant, President G'rath is on the verge of signing of a new defence agreement with the Klingon Empire but tensions are ripe on both sides, and with a much more constricted Starfleet operating at the President's pleasure - the agreement must go ahead to protect Federation citizens, and more importantly, G'rath's corrupt administration.

Operating in secret, David Rush, Matthew West and Daniel Thrace traverse the quadrant, seeking allies - including Erin Munro - in order to access and then utilise the prototype of a reverse engineered Temporal Interplexing Transmitter. Their goal is to prevent the execution carried out on the rest of the crew of Asteroid Base: Alpha in 2384 - at the hands of Illuminati spies working within the Engineering Corp under Vulcan conspirator, Venn. But achieving this goal would mean infiltrating Starfleet Headquarters under the nose of the President himself and his loyal security force.

Failure is not an option.

2394 - Ten Teasers

1 ) G'rath has been sworn in to office, and has already begun solidifying his public persona.

2 ) While Rush and West prepare to visit Accobar Three, maintenance works are approaching their end on the station.

3 ) Nobody is spared when the attack takes place. Although a few may catch a break.

4) The first surprise comes just before the titles roll. Then it just gets complicated.

5 ) Erin Munro's debut takes place ten years in to the future. With her mother gone, it's up to her father to protect her.

6 ) Rush, West and Munro form a band of allies to take advantage of a distracted President.

7 ) Many of the Federation's former members and allies have rallied together to oppose the totalitaristic society, and it's Starfleet loyalists.

8 ) A reunion on an abandoned Asteroid Base: Alpha is a sombre affair. But there's more to it than meets the eye.

9 ) What is the endgame?

10 ) If Asteroid Base does time travel, Asteroid Base has to do time travel well. That was Grizz's brief, to herself.
