DONATE NOW!

TLO Donations Drive 2016

Hello everyone,

It's come time again for TLO to open its arms unto you and issue forth this plea: Although we enjoy providing you with the servers, games and events that you love, there is a cost involved. We rely on your donations to keep up with operating expenses!

Here's a breakdown of our annual costs:

RPG-X Server Hosting (2 severs) @ $10/mo: $120/ year
Web Hosting @ $82.75/semi-annually: $165.50/ year
Domain Name: $12.16/ year
Domain Protections: $2.88/ year
Taxes: Roughly $15/year

Total Regular Yearly Expenditures: $315.54/ year
Current Budget Reserve: $80.89

...and that doesn't include incidental expenditures, or expenditures in the case of an emergency (which we've had in the past).

The Last Outpost doesn't have ads. We don't monetize any of the services we provide in any way. Nobody in the Cabinet gets paid *sniff*. We're here because we love it, and we know you love it too - which is why we're asking now for your help.

Our goal for this drive, which will run from today and will close February 29th, 2016 is $300 USD. Due to a bit of reserve funds left over last year, we've lowered our previous goal of $350 a year to $300--but anything donated above the $300 goal will go into building up our reserve funds even more!

You may ask yourself, other than the continuation of TLO, what's in it for me? We have some wonderful prizes generously donated by our members. For every $5 you donate to TLO, you will receive 1 virtual "ticket" to enter a drawing for one of our fantabulous prizes. Fractions of tickets will be given for donations above $5 (ie, if you donate $27.50 you'll be given 4.5 tickets), and drawings will be held by a randomized electronic program. There's a minimum $5 donation to be entered to win prizes! Here's a list of our lovely prizes, generously donated by our members:

-Tabletop Simulator Game Code (Serris)
-$10 Perfect World/STO Gift Card (Jim)
-Rise of The Tomb Raider PC code (Grizz)
-4,000,000 Energy Credits in STO (Jim)
-Tholian Meshweaver Escort Ship, STO (RadioActivitii)

Thanks to everyone who donated these prizes!

Only one prize per person, drawings will be done to determine who gets to pick their prize first and we'll go in order until all prizes are distributed. The more money you donate, the more likely you'll be the first person to pick a prize!

Donating is easy, just click here or on the many links on this and other pages and fill out the simple form. Via PayPal, we accept most currencies and all major credit cards. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me.

I sincerely thank you in advance for your generosity in contributing to TLO. Your contributions help keep our community going--and for that, we all thank you!

Thank you Jim for another generous donation of $80 bringing his grand total of donations to $180! Thank you so much for your incredible generoucity Jim!

With Jim's donation, we have met our goal for our Donations Drive, and TLO is fully funded for the year ahead.

Thank you to everyone who donated and/or provided prizes! In a few days, I will be contacting all the doners and asking whether or not you are interested in participating in the prize pool. Once we've got everyone's names and entries, I'll do the prize drawing and we'll distribute prizes from there.

Thanks again everyone for making this donations drive a success!
