Star Trek Daedalus - Episode 6: "Wolf in Sheep's Clothing"

The Intrepid attacked so quickly and effectively that Daedalus has found herself defenseless and unable to respond. Her attacks came with such force that it would appear the scheduled refit had been bumped up, and completed quickly. Apparently with the upper hand, Intrepid is more than a match for the now seemingly crippled Daedalus.

Meanwhile, Back on Earth Gardner and Pierce have been tireless in trying to rebuild. They have taken over a Tactical Operations Room in MACO HQ only to discover that only the two of them are now running the whole of Starfleet. Pierce is using all his Starfleet Intelligence resources to track down the three Admirals that were off-world to inform them of the incident. So far, however, Starfleet has moved slowly, but effectively to deal with the crippling situation at home.

Episode Notes:

The episode will start out on Earth, just a couple Hours after Daedalus left... so your characters aren't going to be there... - I'll need volunteers to fill in the following roles for the duration of this story:

My Thoughts: The Original Ending revolved around Ramirez and the Intrepid Command staff being agents for "The Organization". As time spiraled on, and we were coming to the end of our second hour.... I figured I should find another way out.

As a result, Intrepid was apparently subject to the same dampening field that was wreaking havoc with Daedalus' sensors. When they found a way to correct for the field's effects, Intrepid made contact and discovered that the once "Alien ship" they attacked, was a fellow star fleet vessel.

Why was the Dampening field in place?
Who put it there?
What happened to the source of "The Organization's" transmission?
What's going to happen to P'Trell? (Who was shot by a starfleet officer on the Daedalus Bridge)
What will Daedalus do next?
(Feel free to insert more questions here, so I can be sure to resolve them the best I can next week!)

All in all, I think the story went nearly as planned. and I think it worked well. Next week, we'll see who our allies truly are. We'll put a face to our enemy, and most importantly, we'll close the direct contact with the Organization for this season (aka, we won't *really* see these villains again until next season*...
