Any Backstory you wish to share about your character: Sheia was born on Cait to a Caitian Female and Male, although she was born on this planet, she and her parents moved to Earth so they could try and live a happy life but it wasn't to be. When Sheia got more older, she was more like her Mother and not her Father, but when she was asking her how she wanted her to be, she told her to just be the person you want to be and you'll always have a mother who is proud of you. When she reached the age of 62, although before then during her days before she came of age she was studying a lot of cultures and histories, to cultivate multiple differences between a range species. Although she herself being completely feline, she was able to understand and relate to all sides regardless of how she herself looked. Considering that being an anthromorphic cat had it's advantages. When Sheia was 62, she applied to join Starfleet to begin her career, although she was infact brighter and more knowledgeable in multiple fields during her time in Starfleet Academy, as to which then she decided to teach Engineering aswell as teach to the Cadets about constructing their own warp fields with the items that were placed infront of them in the workshops.

After around 20-30 years, Sheia requested to serve on a vessel, undeniably of her rank of Lt. Commander she was assigned to the USS Omega as their Chief Engineering Officer and this was due to the Omega's previous CEO being Killed In Action during an Away Mission. Although Sheia didn't like the methods used by the Commanding Officer she wasn't one to question their techniques nor was she one to ask about any disposition that may have been caused.

35 Years had passed, and Sheia was re-assigned to the USS Typhon as their Chief Engineering Officer but this was due to the Typhons CEO being grounded during their 6 year mission to different worlds and galaxies. Although Sheia's Engineering technique may be shrewed, it was equitable to Starfleet standards onboard a Starship. It got the job done and she wasn't questioned by the Commanding Officer about how she did such things.

At that time, Sheia recieved a transmission from Starfleet Command, another of their ships in drydock needed a Chief Engineer but they found a replacement for her onboard the Typhon aswell as the Omega 36 years prior to her re-assignment. When she had heard the news of this, she completely understood considering she was over qualified. They re-assigned her to the USS Newcastle which was still going under repairs, although she managed to get repairs done in 4 years, she managed to get the Newcastle underway. With Sheia onboard, the Newcastle with their Warp 10 engine got underway, and travelled through to finish of it's 5 year journey.

After that, Sheia decided to go back to Starfleet Command and resign her commission, but before that happened, Starfleet during her service time awarded her with multiple medals and honored her with the rank of Fleet Captain. By this time, Sheia accepted the awards and promotion commendation and set out to cultivate the option of applying for other Fleets, to see if her services would be required there, whether in the Academy or onboard one of their vessels.

Backstory:  Nigel is an experienced officer and has a good record.  He has had a brief position on the Excelsior for a single mission, but has now been transferred to the Daedalus to start a new adventure.
Most Desired Position: Not fussy, Security (I know Chief is already taken) or engineering is the most desired out of the available list, but would be willing to settle for medical if i have to.

A few quick notes moving forward.

Preliminary overview of the roster indicates that 4 senior positions are very likely to open up next week. Keep that in mind, for if you're looking to shift elsewhere, or move up a bit on the totem pole. But you may not rise too far.

Starting now, any open senior positions are going to be locked. There have been some issues with in character interactions that have driven away a player from this SRP, and as such, I'm trying to nurture a change. Senior Positions will be earned by characters (emphasis of that word, characters) in RP.

I will assign them based on attendance, quality of role playing, and time served in the SRP. Badgering me about an open position will place you on the bottom of my list.

This is all being done in an effort to help improve the experience of the SRP for everyone who takes part.

Backstory: With the success of Enterprise's mission, the vulcan embassy was approached about adding more crew to the human ships' roster, to get humans more used to interacting with aliens and avoiding diplomatic faux pases. Hence, T'gera was assigned to Daedalus to help with the latter especially[spoiler] As well as to keep an eye on the Starfleet program[/spoiler].
